With an innings of 106* off just 61 balls against KXIP, Shikhar Dhawan became the first batsman to score back-to-back centuries in the history of the IPL. And while his first ton resulted in a DC win, this one ended in a 5-wicket loss thanks to a sizzling fifty from Nicholas Pooran.
Dhawan was the only DC batsman to show any resistance, as he scored a significant portion of his team's total of 167/5. For his efforts, he was named the Man of the Match despite ending up on the losing side.

Ben Stokes made a late entry into IPL 2020, and he struggled to find his rhythm at the top of the order in the first few games. However, with RR's season on the line against MI in Match 45, the English all-rounder finally came good to score an unbeaten ton and take his team over the line in a 196-run chase.
Stokes hit 14 fours and 3 sixes in his whirlwind innings and was ably supported by Sanju Samson, who managed an unbeaten 50. He was adjudged the Man of the Match for his second IPL ton. RR didn't make the playoffs, though, and ended up a disappointing last on the IPL 2020 points table.

Match 6 of IPL 2020 saw KXIP skipper KL Rahul go up against former franchise RCB, and he made them pay for releasing him by registering an unbeaten 132, which is the highest individual score by an Indian batsman in the history of the league.
Rahul hit 14 fours and 7 sixes during his 69-ball knock, and was aided by two dropped catches from his counterpart Virat Kohli. KXIP coasted to a 97-run win that seemed to have gotten their IPL 2020 campaign going, but they lost the next 5 games to suffer a great blow to their playoff chances.
Needless to say, Rahul was adjudged the Man of the Match for his incredible performance that handed KXIP their only win in their first 7 games.
