Virat Kohli has played well as an opener for RCB in the past. However, he would love to have a specialist opener so that he can move to his favorite number 3 position with AB de Villiers coming in at number 4.

Lynn can be the perfect opening partner for Parthiv Patel. Apart from the left-right combination, Lynn can hit big sixes in the powerplay overs while Patel can find the gaps effectively and keep the scoreboard ticking.

The presence of Lynn will strengthen the RCB batting lineup; Lynn, Kohli and De Villiers in the top 4 could be a deadly combination.
