Kartik Tyagi has been a part of the youth cricketing setup at the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association and featured for the state side in the domestic circuit. He made his debut for the Uttar Pradesh state team in the 2017-18 Ranji Trophy and also represented them in the 2017-18 Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Tyagi has been part of the Indian U-19 team and was selected in the final squad for the ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup to be held next year. He can double up as a medium pacer as well, establishing his ability to feature as an all-rounder for the side.

Rajasthan Royals splurged the money on Kartik Tyagi with the hope that the youngster can prove as a stellar backup whenever the opportunity arises in front of him on the big stage.
