Bishnoi hails from the town of Jodhpur in Rajasthan and has been playing cricket for a long time on the domestic level. His impressive performances prompted his selection for the India A squad in the 2019-20 Deodhar Trophy.

The young leggie is tipped to possess a mean googly and picked a good number of wickets across List A (8 wickets in 6 matches), T20 (6 wickets in 6 matches) and Youth ODI (12 wickets in 7 matches) and is an economical bowler. He was part of the net bowling unit of the Rajasthan Royals during last year's IPL season and has finally made the jump to the big leagues.

Kings XI Punjab have decided to back his talent after releasing Varun Chakravarthy and R Ashwin in their spin department and could pair Bishnoi up with Mujeeb Zadran to form a young partnership.
