#2 Mumbai Indians
The four-time IPL champions have one of the most settled and balanced squads in the tournament. Over the years Mumbai Indians have been known to be very active during the trading window. Before IPL 2019, Mumbai traded in Quinton de Kock from Royal Challengers Bangalore. Trading in De Kock proved to be a masterstroke as the left-handed batsman went on to become one of the highest scorers for the team.
This time around, Mumbai Indians have acquired the services of West Indian all-rounder Sherfane Rutherford from the Delhi Capitals. In return, they have traded spinner Mayank Markande to the Delhi Capitals (who has since moved to the Rajasthan Royals). Rutherford can be a very good backup option for Kieron Pollard.
Mumbai has also signed Trent Boult from the Delhi capitals, along with Dhawal Kulkarni from the Rajasthan Royals.
The Mumbai based franchise has also transferred out Siddhesh Lad to the Kolkata Knight Riders.
Players traded in: Sherfane Rutherford, Trent Boult, Dhawal Kulkarni
Players traded out: Mayank Markande, Siddhesh Lad
