#6 Seamers: Mohit Sharma and Deepak Chahar
The Haryana-born lad Mohit Sharma joined CSK in IPL 2013 and witnessed a successful outing in his maiden appearance in the cash-rich league. He played 13 matches in the edition and played a major hand in taking his side to the finals in 2013. He remained a constant for the next three years at CSK. As his performances improved, he was even considered for national selection. Sharma was fortunate enough to represent India in the World Cup 2015. For Chennai, he played 48 matches and registered 58 wickets as one of their better seamers during the period between 2013 to 2015.
Deepak Chahar is another young Indian seamer, who has grown leaps and bounds ever since his debut in the IPL. After witnessing two successful years with the ball in 2018 and 2019, Chahar was touted as one of the bowlers for the future. In the last two years for CSK, Chahar has emerged as the highest wicket-taker for the franchise. His ability to consistently hit the right spot and make the ball talk makes him a potent option even in T20s. In 29 matches for CSK, Deepak has claimed 32 wickets at an economy of 7.40.
