Prithvi Shaw: 8/10
Shaw showed composure and patience during his 64-run innings, and approached the game sensibly. The opener was the standout performer in DC's batting innings, and he'll want to capitalise on this form in the upcoming IPL 2020 games. He dropped a catch off Watson's bat early on in CSK's chase.
Shikhar Dhawan: 6.5/10
Dhawan struggled with his timing and placement in the initial part of his innings, but stepped on the gas after the field restrictions were lifted. The southpaw got some more minutes in the middle under his belt, and this will serve him well in the upcoming IPL 2020 games.
Shimron Hetmyer: 4/10
Although he was sent in at No. 3 in the previous game against the Kings XI Punjab, Hetmyer didn't get to bat against CSK. DC need to be very careful about how they use the capable West Indian. He was nightmarish in the field, barely taking one catch and dropping another two.
Shreyas Iyer: 6.5/10
Iyer didn't look too fluent during his 22-ball 26, but his score ensured that DC didn't collapse after losing both the openers in quick succession. The DC skipper played sensibly at the start of his innings, but couldn't sufficiently accelerate towards the end. He was good with his captaincy.
Rishabh Pant: 7/10
Pant's 37-run knock took DC beyond the 170-run mark, but the CSK bowlers executed their plans pretty well against him at the death. The wicket-keeper has registered a couple of 30s now, and a big score is on the horizon.
Marcus Stoinis: 6/10
Stoinis added 10-odd runs to the DC total, but apart from that, he had nothing to do in this game.
Axar Patel: 8/10
Axar bowled yet another stifling spell, conceding just 18 runs in his 4 overs and picking up the wicket of his bunny, Watson. The left-arm spinner is putting on a clinic in how to bowl when the pitch doesn't offer much turn.
Amit Mishra: 7/10
Mishra entered the DC playing XI in place of the injured Ravichandran Ashwin, and staked a claim for a regular place in the team with an economical spell of 0/23 against C. Slow through the air and accurate, the leg-spinner showed his vast experience and skill.
Kagiso Rabada: 8.5/10
Rabada was tasked to bowl only 1 over until the 14th over of the CSK innings, and when he came back into the attack, he was next to impossible to get away. The DC spearhead ended his superb day at the office with figures of 3/26.
Anrich Nortje: 8.5/10
Nortje bowled an excellent spell with the new ball, conceding just 9 runs in 3 overs while dismissing CSK's Murali Vijay. The game was almost done by the time he was brought back into the attack, but he bowled superbly to MS Dhoni at the death to finish with figures of 2/21.
Avesh Khan: 3/10
Brought in place of Mohit Sharma, Avesh Khan was the only DC bowler who didn't impress against CSK. The Men in Yellow identified the young pacer as the weak link in the DC attack, and attacked him to ensure that he finished with figures of 0/42.
