1. Yashasvi Jaiswal – Rajasthan Royals
All the talk before as well as during the World Cup has been about the left-handed opener from Mumbai – Yashasvi Jaiswal. The day he scored the double hundred in the List A game and became the youngest to do so, he was the talk of the town. Before the World Cup, all the eyes were on Jaiswal and he has shown the reason behind that with his performance.
In the four games, he has scored 207 runs at an average of 103.5 and a strike-rate of 82.47. He has crossed the fifty-run mark in three of those four games. The only game in which he didn’t cross that mark, the target was just 42 runs and he remained unbeaten there as well.
Jaiswal will be part of the Rajasthan Royals as they bought him in the auction for ₹ 2.4 Crores. The RR management rates him highly and it will be interesting to see how they use him. If used properly, Jaiswal can be a great performer for Rajasthan Royals this season.
