IPL 2020, SRH vs KXIP: SRH Player Ratings

David Warner: 8/10
Warner had a good game as SRH skipper, with most of his front-line bowlers being incisive and effective. With the bat, he played the second fiddle in a massive opening partnership. The Australian got to his 9th consecutive fifty versus KXIP, but failed to score much more.
Jonny Bairstow: 9.5/10
Apart from looking a little tentative very early on and surviving a dropped chance, Bairstow was at his destructive best as he raced to 97 and took his team towards an unsurmountable total. Inexplicably, he slowed down as he approached his hundred and lost his wicket in the process. He took a simple catch behind the stumps as well.
Abdul Samad: 3/10
With one of the best possible platforms set to score big from, Samad made a meal of his promotion. Despite being dropped early on, he could only score 8 off 7 as SRH lost momentum in the death overs. With the ball, his lone over went for a nightmarish 28 runs at the hands of Nicholas Pooran.
Manish Pandey: 4/10
SRH's designated number three in this IPL, Pandey has failed to click on several occasions. Against KXIP, he lobbed a simple return catch to Arshdeep Singh and walk back on his second ball having scored a single run. The Karnataka batsman was another player who wasted the platform that was set.
Kane Williamson: 7.5/10
Given that a calamitous collapse was happening, Williamson's cameo of 20 off 10 was crucial at restoring impetus and ensuring that SRH got the 200 they did. In the field, he took a relatively simple chance to get rid of the KXIP skipper.
Priyam Garg: 5/10
Young Garg gets a half-decent score only on the back of his fielding. He first grabbed hold of a well-timed shot by Prabhsimran Singh, and then ran out Glenn Maxwell out with a direct hit. With bat in hand, he holed out in the deep off his very first ball.
Abhishek Sharma: 6/10
SRH's young all-rounder was once again impressive in bits and pieces. He scored a useful 12 off 6 at the end with the bat, and took the prized wicket of KL Rahul although he gave 15 runs in the bargaining. The expensive over meant it was the end of his direct involvement in the game.
Rashid Khan: 9.5/10
Although he didn't face a ball with bat in hand, there was nothing more that SRH could have asked of their talismanic spinner Rashid Khan, who ended up with an outstanding economy rate of 3. The pressure exerted by him got rid of the set Nicholas Pooran - along with two other middle-order wickets - to complete a perfect night for the Afghanistan captain.
Sandeep Sharma: 7/10
Sandeep went wicketless in the game, but was very economical in his role as a swing bowler for SRH. In the unfortunate absence of Bhuvneshwar from the side this season, he may cement his place.
Khaleel Ahmed: 8/10
Khaleel got the wickets of the aggressive Prabhsimran Singh and Mujeeb, and effected the run-out of Mayank Agarwal that turned the game immediately. His performance should keep Siddarth Kaul out for longer.
T Natarajan: 7.5/10
Yorker specialist Natarajan was highly economical with the ball and added pressure onto Pooran. He returned in what was eventually the last over of the game to dismiss Cottrell and Arshdeep, both of whom departed without troubling the scorers.
