#7 Mumbai Indians
Oldest Player - Lasith Malinga (36 years)

Four-time IPL Champions Mumbai Indians have a good mix of both young and old players. The eldest in the squad is Sri Lanka's veteran speedster Lasith Malinga.
The flamboyant fast bowler is IPL's all-time highest wicket-taker with 170 scalps in 122 matches. The Mumbai-based franchise retained his services for ₹2 crore. He was the captain of Sri Lanka's 2014 T20 World Cup-winning side and brings in his wealth of experience to the MI side.
The Galle-born player has been a crucial part of MI since 2009. Even now, Malinga continues to have a dream run in the IPL. He is a bowler who has adapted well with his age. Even though the speeds at which he bowls are lower compared to those of his prime, Malinga's variations and yorkers make him one the most lethal bowlers of the time.
Some of the other seniors in the MI squad are Mitchell McClenaghan (33); Nathan Coulter-Nile, Rohit Sharma, Kieron Pollard (all 32).
Youngest Player - Rahul Chahar (20 years 158 days)

Rahul Chahar is technically MI's youngest player. All-rounder Prince Balwant Rai Singh is 20 years 249 days so Chahar is still younger than him.
Rahul is an extremely talented leg-spinner. The sport runs in his genes, as he is the cousin of recent pace sensation Deepak Chahar. The Bharaatpur-born player was extremely effective for MI last season. He went on to pick 13 wickets in 13 matches at an excellent economy rate of just 6.55.
Chahar also played a couple of matches with MS Dhoni and Steve Smith while he was with Rising Pune Supergiants for 2017 IPL.
Some of the other young players in the MI squad are Anmolpreet Singh, Ankul Roy, Sherfane Rutherford, Ishan Kishan, and Digvijay Deshmukh. All five of these players are 21 years old.
