Oldest Player - Robin Uthappa (34 years)

The newly roped in Robin Uthappa is the oldest player in the Rajasthan Royals setup. 34-year-old Uthappa was bought by RR for ₹3 crore. Robbie boasts of an impressive IPL career, having played 177 matches in which he has scored 4411 at a strike rate of 130.5 and an average of 28.83.
Uthappa had a disappointing 2019 IPL and will be looking to get back amongst the runs in the forthcoming edition. The other old player in the RR squad is Andrew Tye, who is 33 years of age.
Youngest Player - Akash Singh (17 years)
Akash Singh is RR's youngest player this season. The youngster is only 17 years old. He made his Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy debut with Rajasthan in November last year. The left-arm speedster is also a part of the India under-19 cricket team.
He recently played an important role in the final as he clinched the important wicket of South Africa Under-19 skipper Bryce Parsons to help India win the Quadrangular Under-19 Series taking place in South Africa. He will be looking forward to learn a great deal from the seniors in his debut IPL season.
The other youngsters in the squad are Yashasvi Jaiswal and Riyan Parag (both 18); Kartik Tyagi (19); Anuj Rawat and Mahipal Lomror (both 20).
