Oldest Player - Wriddhiman Saha (35 years 77 days)

Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Wriddhiman Saha is 35 years and 77 days old and is closely followed by Mohammad Nabi, who is 35 years and 8 days old.

Saha was retained by SunRisers Hyderabad for ₹1.2 crore. Known as 'Flying Saha' for his athleticism behind the stumps, the Shaktigarh-born player is also a handy batsman. He has six fifties and a century to his name in his IPL career. Overall, Saha has played 120 matches in which he has scored 1765 runs at a strike rate of 131.13.

Amongst some of the older players in the squad is dynamic opener David Warner (33).

Youngest Player - Abdul Samad (18 years)

Abdul Samad is the youngest player in SRH at 18 years of age. The Jammu & Kashmir-born player was roped in by the franchise for his base price of ₹20 lakh. The right-handed batsman is a talented player and made his T20 debut during the 2018–19 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

He plays first class cricket for Jammu and Kashmir and is currently playing in the Ranji Trophy. The middle-order batsman smashed a six-laden 128 off 75 balls in their latest match against Jharkhand to help his side win by an innings and 27 runs.

Other young guns of the SRH squad include Abhishek Sharma and Priyam Garg (both 19), and Rashid Khan and Syed Khaleel Ahmed (both 21).
