An uninterrupted contest awaits fans when the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) square off against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at Eden Gardens on Saturday, May 20.

The Knight Riders are virtually out of the competition with 12 points from 13 games. The maximum they can reach is 14 points, while a win for the Mumbai Indians or the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in their last league games will see them through to the playoffs.

KKR will be high on confidence after beating the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their last game. They chased down 144 runs with nine balls to spare, with Nitish Rana and Rinku Singh hitting half-centuries.

LSG are also coming into the contest on the back of a win against the Mumbai Indians. They successfully defended 177 runs, with Yash Thakur and Ravi Bishnoi returning taking two wickets apiece.

A win here for Lucknow will guarantee them at least a third-place finish. However, if CSK lose their last game, the Super Giants can finish in the second spot.
