Yuvraj Singh played for Royal Challengers in 2014 and was released by them for the next season, despite a remarkable show where scored 376 runs in 14 matches with three half-centuries. He was bought by the Daredevils for a massive ₹16 crore during the 2015 IPL auctions, making him the most expensive player of the auction.

e had a below-par season as he scored just 248 runs in 14 matches and the highest score of 57. With the ball, he managed to take a solitary wicket in 14 matches and went at an average economy of 8.00.

When he is being discussed, everybody goes back to memorable 2011 World Cup win or the six sixes he hit against England in 2007 World T20. Thus, one can expect a man like him to carry a huge price tag, which specifically didn't happen. Delhi ended up seventh in the points table in 2015 as Yuvraj failed to repeat his performance of 2014.
