Nayan Doshi has played four IPL games in his career and the first of those games came in 2010. Not used in the group stages, the left-arm spinner made his IPL debut for Royal Challengers Bangalore against Deccan Chargers in the third-place play-off game in 2010.

RCB won the game as Nayan Doshi performed well with the ball. He finished the game with figures of 4-0-17-1. Rajasthan Royals bought him in the 2011 auction and he made 3 appearances for them.

Doshi has represented Saurashtra and Surrey in first-class cricket and has played 52 T20 games in his career and picked up 68 wickets at an economy rate of 6.80.
