The Australian all-rounder who plays for Western Australia in the domestic circuit has represented three different franchises in the IPL- the Deccan Chargers, Pune Warriors India and Rising Pune Supergiant. Marsh, who led the Australian colts to an emphatic title win at the 2010 ICC Under 19 Cricket World cup in New Zealand, was bought by the Deccan Chargers at the 2010 IPL auctions.

Marsh played three out of the fourteen league matches for the Chargers, in which he scored 28 runs and took two wickets. The Deccan Chargers finished fourth after losing the third-place playoff against the Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2010. After his forgettable stint with the Hyderabad franchise, Marsh moved to the now-defunct Pune Warriors India in 2011 after being bought for $290,000.
