Karn Sharma is also referred to as the lucky mascot in the IPL because of the fact that all the 3 sides he has played for in the last 3 seasons emerged to be the IPL winners in that season. In 2017, he played for the Mumbai Indians as Rohit Sharma's men went on win the IPL title. He was highly successful as a bowler playing for Mumbai as he picked up 13 wickets in 9 matches.
