#3 Deepak Chahar

Performance in IPL 2018: 10 Wickets from 12 Matches
T20I Debut: 8 July 2018
Chennai Super Kings once again showed why they are the best side in the league by winning the IPL title once again in the year 2018. They won their 3rd title in this year, owing to the extraordinary performances of their young pace attack in that season. The credit for their success went to the young bowlers like Lungi Ngidi, Shardul Thakur and Deepak Chahar, as they played a huge role in restricting the opposition.
Chahar proved to be the strike bowler for MS Dhoni’s side during the latest edition of IPL as he picked 10 wickets from 12 matches. A majority of those wickets came in the initial power-play overs, which show his true talent.
His hard work for his franchise didn’t go in vain as he earned his T20I cap for India just a few months later. He played his first international T20 match on 8 July 2018 against England as the 76th Indian player to do so.
