When he gets going, he can single-handedly demolish any bowling attack. Warner started his IPL career with the Delhi Daredevils and later moved to the Sunrises Hyderabad franchises in the 2014 IPL auction. Ever since then he has lifted the team's spirit and has been a consistent run scorer, making to the list of the top run scorer every year.

Owing to his commitment to the team, he was named the captain in the 2015 edition and led his team to win the IPL title in 2016.

In his IPL career, he has won 15 Man of the Match awards in 114 matches out of which 5 came at the Delhi Daredevils and 10 came at the Sunrises Hyderabad. His consistent performance saw him get retained by the franchise this year.
