The Saurashtra batsman was first roped in by KKR in 2008, but he didn't manage to get a game under his belt for the first two editions. In 2011, Pujara made his debut for KKR and scored just 122 runs in 6 innings at an average of 30.5 and a mediocre strike rate of 106.09.
The 30-year-old later represented RCB for three seasons and Kings XI Punjab in 2014 before going unsold for the next four seasons.
