Dale Steyn has established himself as one of the best ever fast bowlers in cricket history. His blazing swing and searing pace have broken through many batting line-ups. The South African pacer has held the top spot for bowlers in the ICC Test rankings for the vast majority of his memorable career.

The South African bowler has performed for four different teams in Indian Premier League. He has performed 90 IPL games and picked up 91 wickets at a brilliant economy-rate of 6.82.

However, Steyn's performance in Indian Premier League was never particularly great, especially in his last four years. He has been injury-prone in the last couple of years. Hence, the legendary cricketer found himself in the list of unsold cricketers at this auction.
