When Kolkata Knight Riders released Chris Lynn, it shocked everyone in the cricketing circle because he had been such a crucial member of their squad. However, Lynn was unaffected by the release and showed his consistency in the T10 League.

Playing for Maratha Arabians, Lynn scored the most runs of the competition (371 runs in 8 matches) and won the Player of the Tournament award. Lynn also hit the most number of sixes (31) in the tournament.

Therefore, it is apparent that the Australian could receive some huge bids in the auction. CSK has always shown interest in having experienced Australian openers so they could target Lynn to fill up the overseas slot left by Sam Billings.

With six empty overseas slots, RCB could try to acquire Lynn because of their need for a reliable top-order batsman. However, it wouldn't be surprising if KKR has a change of heart and enters a bidding war for Lynn.
