#1 Brandon King
The 24-year-old Jamaican cricketer has rightly earned all the accolades for his stupendous show in Caribbean Premier League 2019.
Playing for Guyana Amazon Warriors, Brandon King was the highest run-getter in the entire tournament. With an aggregate of 496 runs, the right-handed batsman was highly impressive in shouldering his team's responsibility in guiding them to the final of the competition.
King, being the opener for Guyana, scored runs at a menacing strike rate nearing 150. His consistency throughout the tournament was his standout quality in the tournament. However, his efforts weren't just enough to guide his side to a CPL title in 2019.
He might have failed to cross the final hurdle, but his efforts might not go in vain as this opens up opportunities in various T20 leagues for the youngster. King might just be the perfect choice to support either Rohit Sharma or Quinton de Kock at the top of the order.
