#1 James Neesham

Last year, James Neesham had set himself a base price of INR 75 lakhs but, none of the franchises went after him. He used that time to train for the 2019 World Cup and he performed extremely well for New Zealand at the mega-event.
The all-rounder was the third highest run-scorer for the Black Caps whereas he even stood third in the Kiwis’ highest wicket-takers’ list. The 29-year-old later proved his mettle in the Caribbean Premier League by ending the season as Trinbago Knight Riders’ most successful bowler.
Additionally, with all-rounders in high demand in the shortest version of cricket, Neesham could fetch an IPL deal this year, even if he raises his base price. The Kiwi has played 111 T20 matches in his career, scoring 1,525 runs and taking 104 wickets.
Moreover, he is an excellent fielder, an ability he showcased against India in the semi-final of the 2019 World Cup when he took a spectacular catch to send Dinesh Karthik back to the pavilion.
Thus, he would prove to be a worthy asset for any side in the cash-rich league.
