#2 Angelo Mathews
Angelo Mathews is one of those players who has time and again flattered to deceive in the IPL. There is no doubting Mathews' class and talent but for some reason, he just hasn't been able to click in the IPL.
While after a promising start his international career too has been hot and cold of late, his IPL career has been extremely disappointing. The former Sri Lankan skipper has played for the Kolkata Knight Riders, Pune Warriors India and Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals).
In the 49 IPL games that he has played so far, Mathews has scored 724 runs at an average of 23.35 and has picked up 27 scalps at an average of 39.96. The Sri Lankan has failed to perform at crucial junctures of the game especially while playing for his last franchise Delhi Daredevils.
Also, the thing that might go against Mathews is the fact that he doesn't bowl that often now, which pretty much makes him a one-dimensional player.
