There are three key reasons why RCB needs to sign Rohan Kadam in the player auction. The first is that he, being a Karnataka boy, will be having a decent know-how of the playing conditions at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. He has played a lot of cricket at the team's home ground and can benefit them a lot.

The second reason is his consistency in the middle order. Rohan has played 20 T20 matches so far in his career and has scored 794 runs at an average of 49.62. He has a strike rate of 130.37 which shows that he can score runs at a good speed.

The final point which strengthens Kadam’s case for a place in the RCB squad is his leg-break googlies. He can bowl a few vital overs in the middle and maybe chip in with a wicket or two.

Thus, Kadam will be a massive addition to the Royal Challengers Bangalore squad if they manage to buy him at the IPL 2020 player auction.
