#10 Lasith Malinga (MI)

Lasith Malinga, the Sri- Lankan pacer was an integral part of the Mumbai squad. He was draft by Mumbai for USD 350,000 in 2008 player auction. Lasith made his ODI debut against the United Arab Emirates in 2004. He went on to cement his spot in the national squad and made his T20 debut against England in 2006. Malinga also made his Test debut against Australia in 2004.

His death overs bowling and bowling style made him an overnight star. He was an integral part of the Mumbai's squad in the first decade and continues to be a bowling coach. He made his IPL debut against Chennai Super Kings in 2009. Malinga's last IPL appearance came against the now defunct Rising Pune in 2017. He has been instrumental in Mumbai's success in the initial years. He was the recipient of Purple Cap in 2011 season scalping 28 wickets. In the 2018 player auction, Malinga failed to find a bidder and went unsold. He is currently part of Montreal Tigers in the Global T20.
