Spin-bowling all-rounders: Krunal Pandya, Sunil Narine
Krunal Pandya and Sunil Narine are the two spin options in this team.
While the elder Pandya brother has managed 891 runs and 40 wickets in 55 games (spread over 4 years) for MI, Kolkata Knight Riders superstar Narine has picked up 122 wickets in just 110 games at an economy rate of 6.67.
The West Indian joined the team in 2012 and has picked up two Most Valuable Player awards to go along with two IPL crowns. Krunal, on the other hand, has been an integral part of MI's success in the last few years, and has two IPL titles to his name as well.
Both players are dynamic with the bat and although Narine isn't at his preferred opening slot, he will be as dangerous as ever.
Fast bowlers: Lasith Malinga, Jasprit Bumrah
Two of the greatest death bowlers the IPL has ever seen - Lasith Malinga and Jasprit Bumrah - make up this team's pace attack.
The former has played 122 IPL games for MI and is the leading wicket-taker in the competition with 170 wickets (at an economy rate of 7.14) to his name. Bumrah, on the other hand, shot into prominence with his dismissal of Virat Kohli on his IPL debut in 2013, and has 82 scalps in 77 games.
Both Malinga and Bumrah are still as lethal as ever for MI and will look to continue their fruitful partnership at the death in IPL 2020, although the former is expected to miss a large portion of the tournament due to personal reasons.
