If there was one bowler whose action was most imitated in the 2000s, it was Zaheer Khan. He was undoubtedly the best pacer for India in the 2000-2010 period. In his entire IPL career, he played in 100 matches taking 101 wickets. Nowadays, he has seen as a cricket analyst in various media. For the 2019 season, he is appointed as the ‘Director of Cricket Operations’ for the Mumbai Indians.

Dilhara Fernando was in every news when he bowled Sachin Tendulkar in the 2007 World Cup in West Indies. He was known for his pace and the swing he generated. He was one of the main bowlers for Sri Lanka’s success in the late 2000s. He was part of the Mumbai Indians squad from 2008-11 but was available for only two seasons. He represented the team in 10 matches, taking 17 wickets at an impressive strike rate. Due to dip in form, he was dropped from the national squad and has not been able to return to the team.
