Harbhajan Singh was one of the key players for Mumbai Indians. He was part of the team when they won the trophy in 2013,2015 and 2017. He also led the team to the 2011 CLT20 title in the absence of Sachin. Unfortunately, luck didn’t favor him as he wasn’t included in the national squad. He had to wait until 2015 to make his comeback when he was included for the one-off test against Bangladesh. He also played three ODI and two T20s against Zimbabwe. He also played the away series against Sri Lanka but was dropped eventually. He was auctioned to CSK in 2018 and has played his part in the team’s success.

Regarded as one of the best death bowlers of all time, Lasith Malinga attacks everyone with his yorkers and slow deliveries. Lasith Malinga was sold to Mumbai Indians in the 2009 auctions. He justified his selection by taking 18 wickets in his very first IPL. He led the bowling attack from the front and successfully delivered when it mattered the most. Due to ageing and form concerns, he went unsold in the 2018 auctions. He was appointed as the mentor for the Mumbai team after this. In the 2019 auctions, he was again brought by Mumbai Indians. As of now, he has played in 121 matches taking 169 wickets at a strike rate of 16.59.
