Another English player who earned a fat paycheck in the IPL is Tymal Mills. It was a true rags-to-riches tale for Mills when he was snapped up by Royal Challengers Bangalore for ₹12.6 crores ahead of IPL 2017.

However, the left-arm speedster could not live up to the hype - as he missed much of it owing to injuries. He missed matches - first due to a hamstring injury and then due to a sore back. Eventually, the Yorkshire-born player could only manage to play 5 matches for RCB in the entire season.

He clinched a total of 5 wickets and had an economy rate of 8.58. The 26-year-old is currently playing for Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League.

#8 Jaydev Unadkat

Jaydev Unadkat fetched ₹11.5 crores at the 2018 IPL Auctions. The speedster was picked up by Rajasthan Royals in a bid to strengthen their bowling attack.

The Saurashtra-born pacer had clinched 24 wickets in 12 matches during IPL 2017 while playing for the Rising Pune Supergiants. His economy rate of 7.02 was also highly impressive.

Jaydev could not replicate a similar performance for Rajasthan in IPL 2018. He picked up just 11 wickets in 15 matches and was also quite expensive with an economy rate of 9.65. Regardless, RR have again shown faith in the fast bowler and picked him up for ₹8.4 crores for IPL 2019.
