Parthiv Patel has represented six different franchises in the IPL so far- the Chennai Super Kings, Kochi Tuskers Kerala, Deccan Chargers, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore. He represented Chennai in the first editions of the IPL, with whom he won the title in 2010 under MS Dhoni.

Parthiv, who played three seasons for the Mumbai Indians (2015-2017) won two titles with them in 2015 and 2017 under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy. Parthiv who played in all the ten seasons has been a consistent performer both with the bat as well as behind the stumps. In 119 IPL matches, he has scored 2322 runs at a strike-rate of 117.21 with his highest score being 81. Parthiv has 60 catches and 14 stumpings to his name in his IPL career.
