#7. David Hussey: Kings XI Punjab (27 Balls)
2012 was another season for Kings XI Punjab, where they were again struggling to break into the top 4. On paper, they had a decent T20 team consisting of players like David Hussey, Shaun Marsh, Piyush Chawla, and Praveen Kumar. However, they were failing to execute a good performance on a consistent basis. They got the much-needed opportunity to turn their fate around in their match against Deccan Chargers as they were in a far worse place than them.
After winning the toss, DC decided to bat first and put on a score of 190 in a slow pitch. KXIP struggled initially and lost a couple of early wickets. DC was looking to seal the victory, but David Hussey had other plans.
Coming in at no. 5, Hussey immediately started putting pressure on the bowlers by playing his shots comfortably. He scored a quick fifty in 27 balls and went on to win the match for his team with the score of unbeaten 65 runs. His innings included 4 fours and 5 sixes.
