Deccan Chargers had many players like Shikhar Dhawan, Cameron White and JP Duminy who enjoyed the fifth season of IPL with their individual performances, but unfortunately, they were finding it hard to convert that into team's success on a consistent basis and their match against Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur was one such match. DC lost the match at the end, but again some of their players including JP Duminy put on a commanding performance.

Batting first, Duminy came in to bat at number 4 at the back end of the innings and scored a quick fired 58 runs to take the team total to 196. He got to his fifty in just 24 balls, which included 3 fours and 5 sixes.

The southpaw's ability to score run at a good strike rate helped his team in posting big scores and winning matches on multiple occasions, but unfortunately, the match against RR was not one of those, as they lost the match by 5 wickets.
