#3. MS Dhoni: Chennai Super Kings (20 Balls)
2012 was just another year for Chennai Super Kings as they entered the tournament's final for the third consecutive year but their journey was not as smooth as previous years since they faced a rare 'do or die' match in Eliminator against their arch-rivals, Mumbai Indians.
Batting first, CSK found themselves in a difficult position after losing Vijay and Raina in the second over itself. After the partnership between Badrinath and Hussey fell-off, they needed someone to score runs at a good strike rate to reach a respectable total, and MS Dhoni accepted the challenge with open hands.
Coming in when just 6 overs were left, Dhoni took charge of the situation and started hammering the balls all parts the ground. He scored his fifty in just 20 balls, at a massive strike-rate of 255.0, which included 6 fours and 2 sixes.
This was just another death-overs performance from the captain, but it also proved a vital one for his team as at the end they won the match by 38 runs.
