The youth sensation from Afghanistan took 17 wickets in 14 innings by conceding just 358 runs. Rashid Khan bowled with different variations like googly and leg spin which helped him dominate many star players.
He bowled with an economy rate of 6.62 with an average of 21.05. He showcased his talents and proved that he is a big player in making. He had carried his momentum in the next edition of IPL also as he had taken 21 wickets in IPL 2018.
#5 Imran Tahir (RPS)
After being ignored in the auction in 2016, Imran Tahir was recruited by RPS as a backup spinner in the team. But after receiving a chance, the leg spinner made comeback like a hero with his deadly leg-spin and took 18 wickets in only 12 innings.
The spinner from South Africa was making batsmen helpless with his bowling skills. He played a major role in the team’s success and led his team to the finals. He took 18 wickets with a strike rate of 15.66 and a 7.85 economy rate.
