Royal Challengers Bangalore is yet to win its maiden IPL title

One of the more popular franchises in IPL, Royal Challengers Bangalore is yet to win its first title in the tournament. With a history of boasting of some of the biggest superstars of the game, RCB has never been able to justify its potential. After a forgettable first year, the team managed to make it to the final four in the next three editions. The Virat Kohli-led unit made it to the playoffs again in 2015 and 2016 with the latter year bringing them to an agonizingly close distance of winning the cup.

IPL 2018 too, similar to the previous edition, has been utterly disappointing to RCB fans. The team has lacked mettle in several areas and hasn't been in good form thus far. Currently, the fate of the men in red hangs by a thin thread as they depend on the results of other games as well for them to have a chance to make it to the final cut.

IPL 2015- Beat Rajasthan Royals by 71 runs in the Eliminator; Lost by 3 wickets to Chennai Super Kings in Qualifier 2

IPL 2016- Beat Gujarat Lions by 4 wickets in Qualifier 1; Lost by 8 runs to Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Final
