#2 Heinrich Klaasen (South Africa)
The hard-hitting South African wicketkeeper-batsman was bought by RCB at a whopping amount of ₹2.8 crores where he was set with a base price of ₹50 lakhs in this year's auctions. As a result, a lot of expectations were made from him to perform for his team and replicate the performance that he showed against India during the 2018 series. Klaasen was seen in good touch during that series where he was batting in the middle overs.
It may be the case with him that he was not provided with enough opportunities as featured in just three games where he could score a paltry of nine runs and managed to face just 10 deliveries. All this came at a forgettable average of 4.5 which showcases how much miserable IPL season he had in 2019. This may lead Royal Challengers Bangalore to have an alternative for him at the 2020 auctions to strengthen their middle order batting which could empower their top order to play more freely.
