Kolkata Knight Riders
Gautam Gambhir- 9/10
The KKR skipper led from the front as he helped his team to a 7-wicket victory with an unbeaten knock of 32(19). He handled the pressure beautifully after the fall of three early and cheap wickets.
Nathan Coulter-Nile- 9/10
The Australian fast bowler was once again seen at his best as he claimed bowling figures of 4-20-3. His scalps included that of Kane Williamson, Vijay Shankar and Chris Jordan. He took a superb catch of his own bowling to dismiss Jordan.
Umesh Yadav- 8/10
Umesh bowled very well as he ended up with bowling figures of 4-21-2. His scalps included that of the dangerous duo of Shikhar Dhawan and Yuvraj Singh.
Piyush Chawla- 6/10
Chawla was pretty expensive last night as he conceded 27 runs in his three overs. However, he claimed the all important wicket of SRH skipper David Warner.
Trent Boult- 6/10
Boult was a gave away a few runs as compared to other bowlers. He gave away 30 runs in his 4 overs. However, he did claim the wicket of Naman Ojha.
Sunil Narine- 6/10
Narine didn't pick up any wicket but he did keep things tight. He conceded only 20 runs in his quota of 4 overs.
Ishank Jaggi- 5/10
His innings of 5(8) may not seem to be useful but it was of immense importance as it provided Gambhir much needed support at the other end.
Yusuf Pathan- 2/10
Pathan bowled one over giving away just 7 runs. However, he was run out for a duck last night.
Robin Uthappa- 2/10
Uthappa was dismissed for just 1(2) as he tried a big shot off Jordan's bowling only to be caught by Shikhar Dhawan at deep mid wicket.
Chris Lynn -2/10
Lynn smacked a six right on the first delivery he faced. However, he was dismissed right on the next delivery as he edged one to be discussed caught behind.
Suryakumar Yadav- NA
Suryakumar didn't get the opportunity to prove his mettle with the bat. Hence it would be unfair to rate him.
