Zimbabwe will play a one-off Test against Ireland at the Civil Service Cricket Club in Belfast from July 25 to July 29. It will be a historic occasion as this will be the first-ever red-ball contest between the two sides. The series will be Zimbabwe's first Test assignment since the home series against West Indies in February 2023.
The visitors have picked four uncapped players in the squad for the one-off Test against Ireland. Clive Madande, Johnathan Campbell, Brian Bennett, and Joylord Gumbie have been named in the 15-member squad for the Test to be played in Belfast.
Craig Ervine will lead Zimbabwe, while the seasoned Sean Williams is also part of the squad. Looking at the bowling, Zimbabwe have decent experience in the form of Tendai Chatara, Blessing Muzarabani, and Richard Ngarava.

As for hosts Ireland, they have named uncapped leg-spinner Gavin Hoey in their 14-member squad for the one-off Test against Zimbabwe. The Test against Zimbabwe will be Ireland's second home game in the red-ball format. They also made their Test debut in 2018 against Pakistan at home.
