JLT Sheffield Shield Final Confirmed

Victoria will take on the New South Wales Blues in the 2018-19 JLT Sheffield Shield Final, commencing Thursday 28 March at CitiPower Centre, Junction Oval.

Victoria has sealed top spot on the table, with the Blues defeating Tasmania in the final round of the regular season to secure second spot.

New South Wales last won the Sheffield Shield final in 2013-14, playing out a drawn final against Western Australia after finishing on top of the table – while Victoria last Shield triumph came in 2016-17, edging out South Australia in the final.

This will be the first time Victoria and New South Wales have come head-to-head in a Shield Final in over ten years (2007-08).
