Jofra Archer is an English cricketer of Barbadian descent who represents England in internationally. He migrated to England in 2015 after being born in Bridgetown, Barbados, on April 1, 1995. He is a dangerous lower-order hitter and right-arm fast bowler with a high-arm action that can reach speeds of over 150 mph.
In 2013, he played for the West Indies Under-19s, but his stint was cut short by a significant back injury. Archer's elbow injury, which continually surfaces back, has kept him out of professional cricket for most of the year. He last played in May 2023.

Archer joined the IPL in 2018 when Rajasthan Royals bagged him for INR 7.20 crore. His debut was one to remember when he picked up 3/22 against the Mumbai Indians and turned the game on its head in favor of the Rajasthan Royals. Since then, he became the spearhead of their bowling attack, clinching wickets and giving his team the upper hand with the ball.
He played his last season in 2020 which was his personal best where he ended the tournament with a total of 20 scalps with a mind-blowing economy rate of just 6.55 RPO, truly incredible for any bowler in the T20 format of the game.
He was picked by Mumbai Indians in 2022 for a staggering INR 8 crore but an injury ruled him out for the entire season. He played for five matches in 2023 for MI after being retained for the same price of INR 8 crores.
