What a weekend! Typical of all Indian Mega Sporting Dramas, this seems to be the most stretched and best one filled with all kinds of twists and turns. Knotty in its tale and the prose and all the dialogues , I cannot believe that my grandmom has shifted her attention from the twenty odd mega soaps she follows daily just to this one, it has fuelled all the interest now. She has even hid the remote to my Sony TV which does not work with-out it, set to Times Now which practically beams all the news all the time. I guess I might have to give the Soccer world cup a miss due to this deterrent actions of my grandmom warranting more cajoling and buying her all the MS Subbalakshmi DVD’s she had requested us to buy. What a threat…it beats even Mr. Lalit Modi’s excursions and expressions of his thoughts on the show cause notice.

Fine …enough of all the grandmom-isms and getting back to business of Cricket Administration, I believe , it has become a enigma of what exactly is happening in BCCI post IPL 3 fiasco. Everybody has started going secretive, even the team for Asia Cup seems to be. Sachin is not playing it seems, (Thank god, let the god relax for some time…he was hurt when he was donning the Mumbai Indians hat you see… Times Now had a weekend special).

Who cares man, already we have lost to second string Sri Lanka and Pakistan might send a team or not but they have confirmed they are sending a fast bowler who is 6 feet eight inches tall. Thank god, the 50 over game has become a circus right now, I believe all the clowns are in the administration in Pakistan, India and Bangladesh. I wonder what happened to all the players there or they are also clowns like in their administration. I wonder what happened to cricket in Pakistan ( Taliban providing lax ?) Please include Shoaib Malik in the team, we miss Sania in the TV and we demand proof that our Ïndian Bahu has been treated well in Pakistan. ( Sniff ….sniff ….Of all guys , to a Pakistani Shoaib Malik … Tennis ? Who cares man …Until we have Shichiavone and all the Russians Dementieva, Myskina, Tatiana, Tennis can be given a miss, what happened to the beautiful Russians? and Kim Clijisters?). Indians will provide all the drama, not from the field, only from the Board.

Back to the fundementals of Cricket Administration in India. Board is corrupt. Players are drunkards. Selectors disappear when they find a team, because they know they will lose for sure. And IPL brings a lot of hidden junk in the closet. And for a cricket fan like me, I better shift to England or South Africa. They play and talk lesser.
