#3 Kumar Sangakkara
Kumar Sangakkara entered the world of Test cricket in the year 2000 and retired as one of the biggest names to have played for Sri Lanka in the year 2015. In his 15 year career of Test cricket, he always remained as one of the main cornerstone of Sri Lanka with his batting and captaincy techniques.
Sangakkara was widely known for forming long partnerships throughout his career especially with Mahela Jayawardene. He retired with the total of 12,400 Test runs in his career which also included a triple century.
Kumar played the most memorable innings of his career on 5 February 2014 while playing the Test match against Bangladesh. He played a marvelous innings of 319 runs in that match which was held at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong. He also became the 27th player to achieve this record in the longest format of the game.
