In his entire career, he made several new records and even broke many past records retiring as one of the best batsmen from the game. Brendon McCullum holds the record of fastest hundred in Test cricket which shows his aggressive batting style. Baz has also scored a triple century in Test cricket.

He achieved this feat against India on 18 February 2014 as he played a brilliant innings of 302 runs in the 2nd innings of that match. Baz became the 28th player to register his name in the books of cricket as a triple centurion in Test cricket.
