England's World Cup squad selection was all about one man, Jofra Archer. Archer has been sensational in different T20 leagues around the world and will be eligible to play for England by the time World Cup commences. However, the England selectors resisted any such temptations and did not include Archer in the final 15.

England has been one of the most consistent ODI sides in the last couple of years and it was only fair to stick to the core set of players who have been part of this rise. However, all eyes will be on England's pace attack that has been taken apart by the opposition teams in the recent past.

Having said that, team England will start as the favorites to lift it's maiden World Cup title.
