The Netherlands held the record of registering the lowest score in an innings in a T20 World Cup for a decade. The Dutch occupy two of the top four spots, with them getting bowled out for 39 and 44 against Sri Lanka in 2014 and 2021 respectively.
The ongoing World Cup has seen Uganda claim the unwanted record alongside the Dutch. The African nation was shot down for 39 by the West Indies during a group-stage fixture in Guyana. Later, they were blown away for 40 (second-lowest total in the tournament’s history) by New Zealand in Trinidad.
Oman rounded off the top five, thanks to their abysmal batting display in the ongoing tournament. The Asian team was knocked over for 47 by England in Antigua.
