Madhya Pradesh T20 League: Where to watch and live streaming details in India?

The Gwalior Division Cricket Association (GDCA), with the backing of the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA), is all set to host the Madhya Pradesh League (MPL). It is the inaugural edition of the T20 tournament that will take place at the MPCA International Cricket Stadium in Gwalior from June 15 to 23.

It is the state's official franchise-based league that has been approved by the MPCA and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). A total of five teams - Gwalior Cheetahs, Bhopal Leopards, Jabalpur Lions, Malwa Panthers, and Rewa Jaguars will battle it out for the maiden tournament title. The tournament will feature a total of 12 matches.

Venkatesh Iyer, who played a vital role for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their title-winning campaign in this season's Indian Premier League (IPL), is the icon player for the Gwalior Cheetahs. Rajat Patidar, who impressed with the willow, smashing five fifties for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) this year, is the icon player for the Malwa Panthers.

Mumbai Indians (MI) left-arm pacer Mohammad Arshad Khan is the icon player for the Bhopal Leopards. India and Rajasthan Royals (RR) pacer Kuldeep Sen is the icon player for Rewa Jaguars while Madhya Pradesh spin bowler Saransh Jain has been named as the icon player for Jabalpur Lions.

Avesh Khan, who is currently with the Indian cricket team at the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024, misses out on the MPL.

Madhya Pradesh League 2024: When to watch?

The MPL is scheduled to run from June 15 to 23. All matches will take place at the MPCA International Cricket Stadium in Gwalior.

The tournament features some of the top IPL and state players. The five teams are set to play each other twice in the league stage and the team that finishes first in the league standings will directly qualify to the final.

The teams finishing second and third will battle it out in an Eliminator, following which the winner will qualify for the Final, to meet the table-toppers.
