Mayank Yadav is a professional Indian cricketer representing Delhi domestically and the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Known for his right-arm pace and right-handed batting, Mayank initially impressed LSG scouts with only two List A appearances. However, a hamstring injury forced him to miss a full IPL season.

Upon his return, Mayank’s potential was on full display in the Deodhar Trophy, where he took Rahul Tripathi’s wicket with an impressive delivery. In his IPL 2024 debut against Punjab Kings, Mayank took 3 wickets for 27 runs, bowling at a top speed of 155.8 kph. He followed this up with an even faster 156.7 kph delivery and a 3-for-14 performance against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. His blistering pace and consistency earned him the Player-of-the-Match title in both games—an unprecedented feat for a debutant in IPL history.
