Mumbai - India pacer Vinay Kumar was ruled out of the two Twenty20 internationals against England slated for Dec 20 and 22, the Indian cricket board announced Tuesday.
Board secretary Sanjay Jagdale said Kumar will be ruled out for two weeks, due to a strained right calf muscle.
“The selection committee has picked Abhimanyu Mithun as his replacement in the Indian squad,” said Jagdale in a statement.
The team for two Twenty20s and three ODIs against Pakistan will be picked Dec 23.
